Terms of Service

1. The service

Pulse is a wellbeing monitoring tool for families and schools. It collects check-in responses and uses AI to identify patterns that may indicate changes in a child's wellbeing.

Pulse is not a medical device. It is not a substitute for professional clinical assessment, diagnosis, or treatment. If you have concerns about a child's mental health, seek advice from a qualified clinician.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older to create an account. By registering, you confirm you are the parent, legal guardian, or authorised school representative for the children whose wellbeing data you submit.

3. Account responsibilities

• Keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information. Inaccurate check-in responses reduce the quality of insights.
• Do not share your account with people who are not authorised to view your family's data.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information with intent to generate false alerts.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or scrape the platform.
• Use Pulse to surveil a child without appropriate parental or guardian authority.
• Use the service in any way that violates applicable law.

5. Subscriptions and billing

The Free plan is available at no cost with no time limit. Paid plans (Family) are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial periods.

6. Intellectual property

All platform software, design, and content is owned by EarlyLight Health Ltd. Your check-in data is yours — we do not claim ownership of it. You grant us a limited licence to process it to deliver the service.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EarlyLight is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Pulse. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time from Settings. On termination, your data is deleted within 30 days.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
